Ride outs

Ride outs will be led by Celtic Thunder Chapter Ireland with designated routes already mapped out for you, tried and tested by the guys themselves. With Kerry being referred to as Ireland's Eye due to it's breathtaking beauty, you can be guaranteed each route will be like riding through a postcard! Daily ride-outs vary in length. Places are limited so remember to book a place as soon as you arrive. Please note only licensed motorcycle drivers can sample the delights! Licence must be an original. No photocopies will be accepted.

Live Bands

No Festival is complete without live music and an endless line-up of live entertainment - so that is exactly what we've planned. A full list of entertainment during the Festival is available on the Entertainment & Music page.

Demos

One of the biggest draws of any motorcycle event is the ability to test drive the latest bikes and sample the latest models the motorcycle world has to offer. A range of Harley-Davidson and Buell motorcycles will be available for you to try. Make sure you have your valid driving licence, road-legal helmet and sensible riding gear (no sandals and shorts please!).

Bike Village

Open daily 10am - 7pm
The hub of activity and where it's all happening! The Bike Village will be located on the grounds between The Gleneagle Hotel, The Brehon and The River Apartments. If bikes are your passion then the Bike Village is where it's all at! Check out the dealers, register for a demo ride or why not sign up for one of the daily ride outs with Celtic Thunder Chapter Ireland. And of course, if you think your bike has what it takes to go up against the best of them, then why not enter the Custom Bike Show. It really is a family affair, so along with enough to amuse the adults, there is also plenty to keep the kids entertained with special activities, fun and games daily. It doesn't matter if you don't own a bike, why not come along anyway. The Village will have plenty of places to eat, grab a drink, or just sit and listen to the music whilst perched in the centre of all the activity.

Hospitality Tents

What better place to use as a meeting point, drop by and see what everyone is up to, or just chill and relax for a while. Catch up with the guys from Celtic Thunder Chapter whose goal is to ride, have fun and promote the Harley Davidson Lifestyle. If this mantra sounds appealing to you, then why not visit their website at www.celticthunderhog.com and become a Chapter Member.

Miami Ink

The talents of the Miami Ink crew have become the basis for one of DISCOVERY CHANNELS top shows, documenting the lives of these extraordinary tattoo artists. This is your opportunity to take home a piece of truly coveted Miami Ink Merchandise.

Orange County Chopper

If you've seen AMERICAN CHOPPER then you will already know who O.C.C. are - premier builders of distinctive custom bikes. There isn't anything these guys don't know about building a bike from the ground up. A large selection of O.C.C. merchandise will also be available for you to take home to any die-hard fans of the show.

MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY IRELAND CHARITY RIDE

Sun 8 June 2008

A great family day out and a true sight to behold. The charity ride will take place in the heart of Killarney and all proceeds raised will go to Muscular Dystrophy Ireland.

Family Fun

A great family event suitable for all ages. The weekend promises to be filled with plenty of entertainment - and it's all free which is just what you want on a family day out or weekend away. Of course we have not forgotten the kids, who want to be entertained as well, so there will be plenty of games, lots of fun and activities galore to keep them amused. Don't forget your camera as there will be lots of opportunities to take photos of them "riding" some mean machines. The Custom Bike Show is on Saturday 7 June and will certainly be a great spectacle with customised bikes, fascinating paint jobs and every type of machine you could ever imagine taking part. The fun then continues on Sunday 8 June with a Charity Ride through Killarney Town in aid of Muscular Dystrophy Ireland. This is a must for families with children!
